OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES! (or 14 yr old)

I have been going through a bin of old paperwork and came across a letter handwritten to Dad and me. I thought you would all enjoy reading this. (I don't remember this letter--maybe Dad read it and kept it from me since that was during my bad depression years!)

Mom & Dad

I was disappointed today when I had thought about our Monday evening. No church meetings are schedules on Monday so that families can spend time together one evening of the week. It disturbs me to see that our home is a mess, yet we all walk over it and go about our things. Family Home Evening wasn't held until 9:30, and I as I looked around I saw that no one was fully paying attention. The lesson was made short, since it was late, we were all probably thinking about other things during the lesson. How are we supposed to feel the Spirit when the lesson is pretty much made up on the spot, we don't have an opening prayer, no one is paying attention, the room is a mess, and no one really seems like they want to be there? I don't want to hurt anyone, I just want this to be brought to your attention so that things can improve and your are aware that I would like things to be better. I know it isn't all up to you, it depends on everybody's attitude & etc, but please, let's all try from now on to get things planned better so that we can all have a funner and better experience.

Your daughter, Kristin

I thought you guys would all enjoy this picture. I think this was taken in 2006.
I still need to post some of the pictures from the reunion with my sisters in Arizona. I had April take most of the pictures. (It was with James' old camera so I have to find the disc for it so I can upload the pics to the computer.)
Dad and I are heading with the rest of the Bishopric and their wives to attend a Young Women leadership retreat in Walla Walla Washington. They are having a dating panel! Who would have thought that would we would be on a dating panel!! I will have to post and let you all know how it went.
