25 unique things about me

l. I was a teenage bride.
2. I was a teenage mother.
3. I did not have to get married--got married in the Arizona temple.
4. In H.S. I could beat almost everyone in leg wrestling--yes including guys!
5. If I had to choose between a homemade cookie or ice cream sundae, my choice would be cookie.
6. I was a Mat Maid in High School. (Cheerleader for wrestling)
7. I grew up in AZ and never travelled to Mexico.
8. I have been to Canada, Japan, and Korea
9. My favorite temple is the Washington DC temple.
10. In H.S. as a senior, I took a co-op class. (I worked in the afternoons and got paid. I worked for the school district in the media department, and checked in and mailed out films etc.)
11. Several times a week while working in HS. I would take a break with a co-worker and we would walk over to the 7-11 and I would buy peanut mm's and an orange crush. (Today I still crave peanut mm's if I am drinking an orange pop.)
12. I was the only child in my family that had braces. (I would probably be an old spinster if my parent's could not have paid for braces--truly a blessing)
13. My favorite horse to ride on cattle drives was "Amigo". He was a tall black old and very tame horse that was very easy to ride. We would be at the back of the drive trying to hurry the little calves along.
14. I have eaten beef heart several. It made very lean beef sandwiches--I would eat it again if given the chance and it was cooked right.
15. When I was pregnant with TC, I did crave dill pickles at the beginning--but wouldn't eat them for years after I tasted them going in and coming right back out!
16. Several times a month when I was pregnant with TC, Tom and I would visit Baskin and Robbins on Friday nights. I would get a banana split with, hot fudge, caramel, and strawberries. I would get mint chip, pralines and cream, and some kind of chocolate ice cream, nuts, whip cream and a cherry. (Wow could you imagine if I did that now!)
17. When Maren and I had to do the boys chores, I would beg to do the feeding of the farm animals while she milked the cow. I never could get the right rhythm going for milking.
18. My sisters and I shared one bedroom growing up. We had a small single bed for Irene, and two double beds.
19. I had a high metabolism growing up. I could put away the food. Dang what happened? Stupid thyroid!!!!
20. I had my first real kiss from a returned missionary when I was a senior in H.S. I didn't enjoy it!
21. One of my regrets is that I never took voice lessons.
22. One of my highlights is knowing all of my children sing well.
23. My physical fitness goal for this year is to lose 20 pounds.
24. My all time goal since I have been married it to be out of debt except for the house and car!!
25. I am looking forward to the possibility of going back to Hawaii with Tom and spending some vacation time with Marisha.
26 (I added one!) Hopefully in a few years we can all go as a family to one of the Worldmark Condos in Kauai and spend a vacation there. Save your money for your air fare--we will cover the lodging!!!
